Sunday, March 15, 2015. A Much-needed Day at the Park. We enjoyed a wonderful day at our favorite park, Hayes Nature Preserve, last Sunday. After a several weeks filled with snow and ice days, followed by lots of rain, we finally had a day that we could enjoy the outdoors. We took advantage of them all that day. Wednesday, June 25, 2014.
The Huntsville-Madison County Historical Society was formed more than 60 years ago by thoughtful citizens who were concerned about preserving the unique heritage of this area. The richness and diversity of 200 years of local history indeed should be shared and celebrated. Madison County, established in 1808, is older than the State. The small village of Huntsville, founded not far from the Tennessee River, has enjoyed a history that is worth being saved and shared for future generations.
The Jersey Central Chapter of the National Railway Historical Society. NRHS, was formed in 1980 as a non-profit group dedicated to the preservation and restoration of railroad and railroad related equipment, structures, photographs and literature. Site in Phillipsburg, NJ.
Wednesday, March 30, 2011. Weekend before last we had lots of family fun. We began the weekend by visiting Me Maw. YUMMY! So we passed the time by taking pictures. He was fast asleep when she brought him home.
